The Aqua Rite automatically sanitizes your swimming pool by converting the salt into free chlorine which kills bacteria and algae in the swimming pool. They automatically produce pure chlorine every day while the swimming pool is being filtered and distribute it evenly throughout the swimming pool via the return jets. The operation requires a low concentration of salt (sodium chloride) in the swimming pool water. These levels are low enough that it normally will not be tasted. Chlorine will revert back to sodium chloride after killing bacteria. These reactions will continuously recycle virtually eliminating the need to add sanitizing chemicals to your swimming pool.
You may need to add more salt to the swimming pool is when water is replenished due to backwashing, draining, or splashing (not evaporation).

Aqua Rite generators use a low concentration of salt dissolved in the swimming pool water (below the level of taste) to produce up to 1.45 lbs of chlorine daily, enough for all residential swimming pools up to 40,000 gallons. They are also NSF certified and approved for use on commercial and public swimming pools. They easily install on standard filtration systems, both for new construction and on existing swimming pools.
