Sta-Rite DynaGlas Pump FAILURE TO PUMP REDUCED CAPACITY OR DISCHARGE PRESSURE Suction leaks/lost prime: Pump must be primed; make sure that pump volute and trap are full of water. Make sure there are no leaks in suction piping. Make sure suction pipe inlet is well below the water level to prevent pump from sucking air. If suction trap gasket is defective, replace it. Make sure pump is not trying to lift water more than 10′(3m). Make sure suction pipe is at least 2" (51mm) in diameter. Clogged pipe/trap/impeller, worn impeller: Make sure suction trap is not clogged; if it is, clean trap and strainer. Make sure impeller is not clogged Impeller and diffuser may be worn. If so, order replacement parts from Repair Parts List 1 SQ1052 Motor 1/2 HP SQ1072 Motor 3/4 HP SQ1102 Motor 1 HP SQ1152 Motor 1 1/2 HP SQ1202 Motor 2 HP 2 U30-692SS Screw #10-32×1/2" 3 U17-568 Bonding Lug 4 C69-24 Slinger 5 C3-184P Seal Plate 6 U9-373 Seal Plate O-ring 7 37400-0027 PS-201 Shaft Seal 8 C105-236P Impeller 3/4 HP C105-236PB Impeller 1 HP C105-236PC Impeller 1 1/2 HP C105-236PDA Impeller 2 HP C105-236PEA Impeller 2 1/2 HP 9 C1-270PB

DURA-GLAS and MAX-E-GLAS CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS with TRAP Failure to pump Reduced capacity or discharge pressure Suction leaks/lost prime: Pump must be primed; make sure that pump volute and trap are full of water. Make sure there are no leaks in suction piping. Make sure suction pipe inlet is well below the water level to prevent pump from sucking air. If suction trap gasket is defective, replace it. Suction lift of 15 to 25 feet (4.5 to 7.5 meters) will reduce performance. Suction lift of more than 25 feet (7.5 meters) will prevent pumping and cause pump to lose prime. In either case, move pump closure (vertically) to water source. Make sure suction pipe is large enough. Clogged pipe/trap/impeller, worn impeller: Make sure suction trap is not clogged; if it is, clean trap and strainer. Make sure impeller is not clogged, check impeller for clogging Impeller and diffuser may be worn. If so, order replacement parts from Repair Parts List Pump may be trying to push too high a column of water. If so, a “higher head” pump is needed. Electrical: Pump may be running too slowly; check voltage at motor terminals and at meter while pump is running. If low,
