HASA-CIDE (Yellowith Green Algae Prevention + Control)

HASA-CIDE is used to control the growth of algae in swimming swimming pools. HASA-CIDE is compatible with those chemicals normally used to treat swimming pools and is effective at both acid and alkaline pH. HASA-CIDE is especially effective in swimming pools treated with chlorine chemicals and may reduce the amount of those chemicals normally required.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For swimming pools having just visible algae growth: adjust chlorine level to 3.0 ppm, add an initial dose of 18-27
fluid ounces of HASACIDE per 10,000 gallons of water and remove settled algae debris by cleaning.
For treatment of a freshly cleaned and filled swimming pool: adjust chlorine level to 3.0 ppm, add initially 10-18
fluid ounces of HASACIDE per 10,000 gallons of water. To maintain swimming pools free of visible algae growth,
subsequent additions of 3.5-7 fluid ounces of HASACIDE per 10,000 gallons of water should be made
every 5 to 7 days after the initial treatment.
For maximum effectiveness swimming pools containing heavy growth of algae should be cleaned prior to using
HASACIDE, adjust chlorine levels to 10 ppm, then treat with 18-27 fluid ounces of HASACIDE.

After removing settled algae debris always backwash filter to remove all traces of algae. Swimming
may be resumed when chlorine levels are 3.0 ppm or below.
Keep this product dry in a tightly closed container, when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated
area away from heat or open flames. Do not mix HASACIDE with concentrated dry or liquid chlorine
products.
